This will be a 2 part class with the following 2 parts:
Part 1: 11 AM - 12:30 PM
Focus on desi hip hop as a genre of music, hip hop as a dance form and culture, groove basics, answering some questions on why you do not "look" like a hip hop dancer.
Part 2: 12:30 PM - 2 PM
Beg/ Intermediate level choreography using what we learn in Part 1.

Indian Contemporary
This class focuses on the fusion of Eastern and Western styles of dance and musical interpretation. We will be fusing elements of Contemporary, Ballet, Modern Dance, and that of Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and other Indian folk forms of dance.
Desi Hip Hop
Desi Hip-Hop is a genre of music that portrays the desi experience through hip-hop. The dance form used in this class will be hip-hop with the choreography using desi elements to portray the rap/ lyrics. Expect a fun class in which every person takes on a character with a strong focus on the foundation, technique and fundamental movements of hip hop.
